About Us

Both Teri and Ted Batchelor grew up in Kent County; Teri in Fairlee and Ted in Rock Hall. Each celebrated their family Christmas with real Christmas trees during their growing up years and wanted to help others share in that special experience.

Teri chose Forestry for her career attending West Virginia University and graduating in 1978 with a BS in Forest Resource Management. Ted has made a lifelong career in yacht carpentry, maintenance and repair. Together they chose to plant 4.5 acres of Christmas Trees within the 290 acre “Baker Farm” beginning in 2009. Each year they have performed maintenance and worked to farm the land on these 4.5 acres of Christmas Trees.

In July 2020, we experienced the tragic loss of Teri. Ted wanted to continue the tree farm and so, with help from wonderful friends and family, we’re able to continue Teri’s passion for trees and help families create memories that will last a lifetime.
