Bakers Lane Christmas Trees was the dream for Teri and Ted Batchelor, who began to grow the trees in 2012 and opened their farm for the first time in 2018. Teri and Ted grew up in Kent County; Teri in Fairlee and Ted in Rock Hall. They both wanted to help others share in the special experience of choosing and cutting your own Christmas tree.
In July 2020, we experienced the tragic loss of Teri. Ted wanted to continue the tree farm, though was unable to do so alone due to health reasons. Their son, Clay Batchelor, stepped in to continue the tree farm with love and in memory of his mother.
Clay has expanded on what his parents started and continues to offer families the same special experience of choosing their Christmas tree at a family farm.
